The Hotel Yaramar is a four-star hotel with 242 rooms, all with sea views and all-important air-conditioning. Fuengirola Beach for July

While most of the beaches in Fuengirola are crowded during July, check out Carvajal Beach to find one that will be a little quieter. It is located 50-60 minutes walking from the city centre, so driving is a must. This will take less than 15 minutes. Like most beaches in the area, sun beds and umbrellas are available for rent, as are paddle boats. The beach is also devoid of trash as it is cleaned regularly.

If you are hungry, there is a great restaurant just minutes away walking, called Los Marinos José. Their focus is seafood, and much of what they serve they catch themselves, to ensure its freshness. They are open every day for both lunch and dinner and are located about 20 minutes walking from the city centre.

Jackson's Bar is a bar that has more of a club feel to it than a quiet place just to get a drink. There is usually a DJ playing music for what is a lively crowd. They have a full bar and the bartenders are capable of making almost any cocktail requested. Jackson's is open daily from 10 AM to 2 AM (they also serve breakfast in the morning) and is about a six minute walk from the city centre.
