What's the Weather like in Faro in April
April marks that spring is in full effect in Faro, Portugal. The Mediterranean climate starts to take on better form as the sun shines longer, temperatures are generally pleasant, and days linger on. The end of April will guarantee the highest temperatures and longest sunshine hours making it an ideal time to visit.
Throughout April the temperature averages 16°C (60°F). Temperature highs can reach 20°C (68°F), more common in the last ten days of the month. Temperature lows can go down to 11°C (52°F), more common in the beginning ten days of the month. Hire a car and head to the Eastern side of Lagos to Meia Praia Beach. Pack a picnic or enjoy one of the countless restaurants along the beach.
Bars and Restaurants
If you are looking for exceptional service and delicious food, look no further than O Gimbras. Although not the most budget friendly restaurant in Faro, it is without a doubt worth it. Serving typical Algarve cuisine some options include Octopus in Olive Oil, Pork with Chestnuts, and Curry Shrimp Rice. Before leaving, make sure to try one of the many assorted cakes and pastries.
For a buzzing place to have some local wine and food, check out Se7e Pedras Restaurant & Wine Bar. Offering daily happy hour specials (order a burger, get a pint), this is a place to sit back and enjoy some live music in a friendly atmosphere.

Things to do in Faro in April
With the weather starting to become pleasant and spring in the air, it's a perfect time to go out on the water. Rent a boat or get a guided tour from Formosamar. One popular option is the "Marine Life in the Algarve Coast" (45) which takes you on a guided tour to learn about marine life in their natural habitat.
