Disneyland Weather May Averages, France
By May, the temperatures are warmer still and this area of France will be seeing a lot more sunshine than at other times of the year. The beginning of May may mean more crowds, as it is the start of the busier time of year in the park, but the warmer weather means that waiting in queues for the rides will be a much more pleasant experience than in winter.
With an average temperature of 15°C, four degrees more than April, May is the fifth warmest month of the year, after the following four summer months. In May, the afternoon temperature climbs to a pleasant average of 20°C, while the nighttime temperature ranges around 10°C. Those highs and lows continue to increase every single day respectively from 17°C and 8°C in the beginning of the month to 21°C and 11°C at the end.
There are 7 sunshine hours per day in May, a number that also seen in August. Only June and July are sunnier and have 8 hours of sunshine per day. The reasons behind this high number of sunshine hours are a decrease in cloud cover and the continuing lengthening of the days throughout the month.
Cloud cover in May decreases from 62% to 60% in the course of the month. This means that on most days the sky is partly cloudy, leaving room for sunrays to peak through. The length of the day increases from 14.36 daylight hours on May 1 to 15.52 daylight hours on May 31.
As the temperature rises and more water evaporates, the total amount of rainfall increases slightly as well, so take a look at the weather forescast to decide if you need to pack a raincoat! May gets 57mm of precipitation over a 12-day period. When it comes to total rainfall, this makes it the third wettest month of the year. The good thing here, though, is the fact that rain generally occurs in rather short rain showers. There is little variation in the chance of rainfall throughout the montht stays around 52%. Moderate rain is still by far the most common type of precipitation, observed on 65% of the days with rainfall. The likelihood of thunderstorms increases slightly. They are now recorded on 20% of the days with precipitation. Light rain occurs on 11% of those days.
Hôtel l'Elysée Val d'Europe resembles a grand building on one of the Parisian boulevards in an incredibly realistic way. It lies close to the shopping mall and only 10-minute from Disneyland with the free shuttle bus. Shops, restaurants and a train station with a direct connection to Paris lie nearby as well. This 3-star hotel has an elegant exterior as well as interior, and a stylish bar and restaurant. Facilities and services include indoor amusement rides for children, free Wi-Fi, an extensive buffet breakfast and free parking.
Themed loosely around Disney's classic movie 'The Lion King', Restaurant Hakuna Matata in Adventureland has a design inspired by African architecture. Dishes on the menu are named after the movie's characters, but besides that and the design and décor, there's little that actually refers to the movie. That being said, the food is great. The menu is made up of pastas, salads, sandwiches, chicken and so on, and there is a children's menu as well.
Another eating venue in Adventureland is Colonel Hathi's Pizza Outpost. This counter-service restaurant serves mainly pizzas and pastas. You can enjoy your food in the main seating area inside or, on warmer days, on the covered outdoor terrace and veranda.
As always at Disneyland Paris, there is a lot for you to see and do, whatever your age.

This is the place to immerse yourself in the world of piratesandmarks include Captain Hook's Pirate Ship, Treasure Island, Skull Rock and Spyglass Hill.
