The private villas that make up Villas El Descanso all have private swimming pools, terraces and lounge chairs to relax the day away in the July heat. It can busy during peak times, especially during the peak tourist season in July, so it's recommended to call in and make a reservation if you want to be sure to get a table right away. Things to do in Costa Caleta in July
With the warming sea temperatures, July is great month to try surfing through the Amanay Surf School. From beginners to more experienced surfers, the school caters to all levels with one, three and five-day lessons. The lessons include hotel transfers, all instruction, surfboard and other equipment and insurance. If you want to take your skills to the next level, consider the private lessons or surf camps the company runs.
Fuerteventura en Musica Festival
During the first weekend of July, the Fuerteventura en Musica festival comes to the La Olivia, bringing in dozens of bands and musicians. The festival features world fusion music, as well as ska, punk and reggae.
