U Fanale

One of the best rated restaurants on the whole islands is U Fanale in Calvi which is popular with locals and tourists alike. Gourmet-style Mediterranean dishes are freshly cooked and beautifully presented and there's a great selection of wines and other drinks available. Outdoor dining is available but in March, diners may prefer to be seated indoors, where they can enjoy dinner with spectacular views.

U Paisanu

Last but not least, U Paisanu is a small but not-to-be-missed eatery located behind the marina in Bastia. This unique and quirky little place serves homemade dishes which are simple but full of flavour. The restaurant also features a shop where tourists can buy fresh produce such as meat and cheese.

A popular landmark of Corsica is the Escalier du Roi d'Aragon, or King Aragon Steps located in the town of Bonifacio. This ancient set of steps are cut into the limestone cliffs, offering amazing scenic views for those who climb or ascend them. There are 187 steps that lead from the town down to ocean level. The area can get quite busy with travellers, but March is an ideal time to visit when the whole island will be much quieter.
