September Weather Averages

Sorted by popularity:

What's the Weather like in Casablanca in September

Though September is traditionally the time for autumn to begin, in Casablanca it is still summer all the way. High temperatures, dry weather and beautiful sunshine are close to conditions of the peak month of August, ensuring the warm weather just doesn't feel like it is ever going to come to an end.

But with the last of the peak crowds leaving the city for the year, September is a much quieter time in this part of Morocco. And this makes it a magnificent time to come and enjoy the fabulous climate in the region without worrying if you will be able to find a space on the beach.

Temperature

Expect average temperatures of 23°C across the entire month of September, which are equal to the average temperatures usually seen in the month before. Indeed, even the average high temperatures of 26°C are equal to those experienced across July and August. While average lows of 19°C make every day in September seem like it is very much a summer month in the city.

Historically, September has matched July in offering the highest ever temperature recorded in Casablanca, at a very warm 40°C. But the record low of 6°C is lower than those seen over the previous two months, giving the very slightest indication that the weather may start to turn soon.

Rainfall

Rain continues to be non-existent in the region throughout September. The forecast does state that Casablanca could see up to 3 days experiencing some rain. But if this does happen, it is very likely to be at the very end of the month. And only then a total of 10mm of precipitation is likely to fall.

Average Sea Temperature

And as the weather stays beautifully warm, so does the average temperature in the water ensuring sea conditions up to 23°C keep everyone very happy at the beach. And while seven daily hours of sunshine is one less than experienced in August, for anyone that wants to enjoy some delicious late summer sun, Casablanca is definitely the place to come.

Club Val d'Anfa Hotel

When the sun is still very warm, the Club Val d'Anfa Hotel is a great place to stay.
