Make the most of the hot Caribbean sunshine by spending a day at Playa Delfines. Located on the eastern coast of Cancun, this white sandy beach is popular with surfers and body boarders who use the large waves to their advantage. However, the typically breezy conditions, riptides and sometimes rough currents can make swimming dangerous, so be cautious if you decide to go swimming.
Here you'll find all the usual services and facilities sun loungers and parasols available to hire, public toilets and showers but there aren't any bars or restaurants, which makes this beach a lot quieter than others in the area. Playa Delfines also stands out from the others since it's one of the very few to offer free public parking, it has a beautiful 'Cancun' sign at the front and there are some Mayan ruins nearby.
Playa Gaviota Azul
Families with little ones will love Playa Gaviota Azul. Located on the northern side of the resort, this beach features bright, clean sand but that's not its major appeal.
