July Weather Averages

Sorted by popularity:

What's the Weather like in July

If you're wanting plentiful sunshine and summer hot temperatures, then July is the time to visit Calella, for sure!

Temparature

This is the sunniest month of the year on average, and also the hottest, with an average temperature of around 23°C, which can reach as high as 29°C as an average high temperature; the peak summer months are also the time when heatwaves are more likely to hit the resort, and in this case you can see the mercury soaring further still. Put simply, these months are not the time to visit if you don't enjoy heat!

Evenings are now just as balmy as the day time, with an average evening low temperature of 17°C air conditioning in your hotel or apartment is a must now, and should certainly be purchased at check-in; fans don't tend to cool a room in the same way during heat like this.

Average Sunshine Hours

In terms of average sunshine hours per day, you can expect around 13 hours of bright sun to greet you, which certainly makes beach time a definite must.

Average Sea Temperature

The average sea temperature during this time of year is also very pleasant indeed, at 24°C, and with a whole host of water-sports on offer, you can certainly enjoy your time on the beach with no boredom factor creeping in at all, and kids will love the opportunities for splashing around on the large beach.

Rainfall

Rain is not something you need to worry about at all, as this particular month only experiences around 38mm on average across the whole month, which can affect up to 5 days to some degree to be honest, you're highly unlikely to notice any significant amount of rain at all during this time of the year, and instead you are much more likely to experience the typical summer holiday weather the Mediterranean is known for.
