Rainfall

Unfortunately for those that like dry conditions, October is one of the wettest months of the year in Cala d'Ora href="http://www.holiday-weather.com/cala_d_or/averages/november" style="line-height:1.6em;">November will be the absolute wettest. 63mm is about average for this time of year and there are 12 days with rainfall. Heavy rains can often appear quite literally out of the blue. Best to pack an umbrella if travelling in autumn. Precipitation is least likely in the beginning of the month, with a chance of 33%. At the end of the month, that chance has increased to 38%. There are two main types of rainfall: moderate rain and thunderstorms. They are observed on 36% and 34% of the days with rainfall respectively.

Average Sunshine Hours

The increase in rainfall is due to the fact that more clouds move in throughout October. Cloud cover increases from 37% to 42%, which unfortunately blocks out more sunrays. There are "only" 6 hours of sunshine per day on averagewo hours fewer than in September and the same as in February and March.
