Bridgetown Weather June Averages, Barbados
June is the beginning of the wet season in Bridgetown, but this does not mean you cannot still visit the beautiful resort.
Humidity is higher and precipitation increases dramatically from levels in May to 112mm in this month, but it is still restricted to 14 days, meaning half of the month is free from rainfall. Therefore, although packing an umbrella is a wise precaution, it is still perfectly possible to enjoy a trip to Bridgetown at this time of the year.
In fact, with 9 hours of daily sunshine and an average temperature of 27°C (81°F), a holiday to this area should be very enjoyable. Temperatures are the warmest of the year with highs reaching 29°C (84°F) and average lows not dropping below 25°C (77°F) so staying hydrated is a must. Also an average sea temperature of 28°C (82°F) is great for a dip if the weather gets a bit muggy.
June is the start of the hurricane season so take precautions, but there have been no major hurricanes in Barbados since 1955.
