Bridgetown Weather April Averages, Barbados

Accra beach is a popular spot for tourists and there are chaBrownes Beach is situated just outside of Bridgetown and provides a long shoreline of white sand, this is one of the biggest beaches on the island. The turquoise waters are calm and ideal for scuba diving, swimming and snorkelling. This beach has no restrooms, but there are plenty of local restaurants and resorts that surround the beach to use. The beach has shipwrecks nearby off the coast and the beach itself is pristine.
Eating & Drinking Out
The Lone Star is still one of the hippest restaurants on the island and its location near the sea is perfect. The menu is extensive with Caribbean, Indian, Asian and European cuisine to tempt the taste buds, for the constantly thronging crowd at this busy place.
Oistins Fish Fry is a fishing village in the south of the island and on a Friday night, its Fish Fry night at the village fish market. Picnic tables with seated tourists and locals, frying cabins, colourful stalls and the atmosphere of a street party. Grilled to order fish, local arts and handicrafts make this a Friday night to savour.
Tapas restaurant and bar has a buzzy feel to it, with tourists and locals frequenting the location along the south coast boardwalk. The restaurant is on two levels, upstairs for stunning views and the ground level is next to the beach. Fine dining at reasonable prices at a location that you can only dream of.
Waterfront Cafe overlooks the Careenage in Bridgetown harbour, this place is café/bistro type of affair that is one of best places on the island to stop for lunch. There is a bar area and some cool local art displayed around the place. In the evening you will find local jazz bands and a laid-back vibe to enjoy your night.

Limegrove Lifestyle Centre is situated in the centre of Holetown which is on the west coast of Barbados. This luxurious shopping mall Limegrove has a huge selection of the world's most prominent brands. At this centre you will discover an array of shoes, clothing, watches, kitchen goods, jewellery and culinary delights. Limegrove is a wonderful place for a snack, light lunch or a full dinner from the restaurants on the ground level that surround the water feature. You can also dine alfresco and have drinks at the Lime Bar. The Limegrove also has a cinema that offers a boutique and luxurious cinema experience with food, drink, plus snacks brought to your seats directly.
Sandy Lane Golf Course is a luxury golf course and resort in Barbados that provides some of the finest golf on the island. The Country Club, The Old Nine and the Green Monkey are the three courses to try. The course offers stunning and spectacular natural scenery of Barbados' beautiful coastline.
The Dolphin Fountain in Heroes Square honours when piped water was first introduced to Barbados in 1865. The fountain is a bleach white colour with a large pool with 3 smaller pools rising from the larger pool and adorned with Dolphins worth a photo or two.
Barbados Museum and Historical Society is situated at the Barbados Garrison and is a former military prison used by the British. It became a museum in 1930, the building itself was constructed in 1817 on the second floor and the ground was constructed in 1853. The exhibits on display include old maps of the island, early inhabitants of Barbados, the Amerindians and plantation house furnishings.
