Plage du Moulleau

Also found in Arcachon about an hour from Bordeaux, Plage du Moulleau is just south of the Plage du Abatilles and near the nature reserve Banc d'Arguin. It's a popular beach for families and children with its calmer waters and warm sand beaches. Many people ready to party take to the beach after the sun goes down to spend a fun night by the water. Garopapilles

One of Bordeaux's best restaurants, Garopapilles proves itself day after day with an extensive menu of food and wine. The menu includes a three-course lunch menu of a starter, main, and dessert, and a five-course dinner menu with numerous choices. Binh Duong

Bringing Vietnamese cuisine all the way to France, Binh Duong gives guests large portions and affordable prices. Menu items include bobun, spring rolls, hot pot of duck, kebabs, and shrimp. Nouveau Stade de Bordeaux

Even if you're not a huge sports fan, the Nouveau Stade de Bordeaux, the city's only sporting stadium, is a sight to see. It hosts football and rugby matches, as well as concerts. The light and bright arena is an architectural marvel in its own right with sloping tiers and 10,000 posts representing pine trees found in the area. The home team is the Girondins de Bordeaux but it also plays host to international football and rugby games.

Supercar Roadtrip

If you've always wanted to get behind the wheel of an exotic sports car, you can get your chance with Supercar Roadtrip. Here, you get to choose your wheels and drive them around town with one passenger. The company provides specially-designed routes for you to follow and see the sites of Bordeaux. Car choices include Ferrari, Lamborghini, Jaguar, Secma, AMG, and Nissan GTR, and each of them is a convertible so you can get some fresh air in the warm August weather.
