What's the Weather Like in Ayia Napa in October

Temperature

For those wanting to avoid the summer crowds but still enjoy some really beautiful weather, October is the absolutely perfect time to visit Ayia Napa. The average low temperature is 16°C during this month, but the average high temperature is still a high 27°Coth are three degrees colder than in September and five degrees colder than the peak summer months of July and August, but still much more pleasant than the averages in November. Ayia Napa Beaches in October

October is the last month of the year that allows visitors to spend a comfortable afternoon on the beach. And there are plenty of beaches in and around town, from bustling Nissi Beach to Konnos Bay Beach in Cape Greco national forest park to Grecian Bay and its three beaches. All beaches have plenty of facilities, such as beach bars, restaurants and water sports equipment rentals, and are easily accessed.

Ayia Napa is a favourite holiday destination with the 18-30 crowd thanks to its wild nightlife. For those that came to Ayia Napa to party, there's plenty on offer here. One option is Carwash is a great club with a retro vibe that plays a variety of music from the 60's through to the 90's.

Marinella Bar

If you're in the mood for a bar crawl, do stop at Marinella Bar, a busy bar that's located at the town's central square. In summer, this bar is part of the Kandi Street Party at Ayia Napa Circus Square.

Tony's Taverna

A much quieter place in Ayia Napa is Tony's Taverna. This excellent eatery is renowned for its pleasant, cozy atmosphere, an exceptional menu and a great setting. The menu is varied and having dinner in the open-air garden area surrounded by lemon trees and aromatic herbs will surely be unforgettable.

Things to Do in Ayia Napa in October

The Black Pearl Pirate Boat

Arguably one of the most fun boat excursions you can do in the resort is The Black Pearl Pirate Boat. This huge pirate boat takes you along the scenic coast to great swimming and diving spots. The trip includes all major sights along the coast, a children's treasure hunt, dresses and costumes for all participants, a cannon show, amusement hosted by Captain Jack Sparrow himself, a roast chicken, potato and salad lunch, and a bar with an extensive menu. The trip starts around 11am and ends at 3pm. From 4pm throughout the night, the ship serves as a licensed bar in the harbour.

Macronissos Tombs

A totally different attraction is the Macronissos Tombs. Although they may sound a bit macabre, they're actually a historically very significant highlight. Located in the village of Macronissos, west of the resort, this ancient burial site dates back to the Hellenistic Roman period. Although unfortunately all tombs have been plundered, they still are of archaeological importance.
