June Weather Averages

Sorted by popularity:

What's the Weather Like in Aruba in June

Temperature

The weather in Aruba in June is peak summertime, the hottest part of the year. This means consistent high temperatures and sun, allowing you to explore the best of Aruba at your leisure and to enjoy the white sandy beaches that the island is famous for. Because of its position in the sea, you may expect some windy days. These are more prevalent in the north of the island, in areas such as Arasji, but can be felt on any beach so watch out for rough, choppy seas which may not be safe to swim in.

The daily average temperature for the whole six months of summer is the same, at 29°C, just as it was in May. Highs of 31°C will leave you at risk of sunburn if you do not use suntan lotion, and the lows of 26°C are still very warm indeed.

Sea Temperature

The sun also heats up the water, giving you an enjoyable average sea temperature of 28°C. This is perfect for a lazy swim, and for snorkelling along to see the underwater life. Check out the weather forecast to see the hottest times of the day, and perhaps plan a small break or to be indoors at this time this will protect your skin and also prevent you from getting dizzy or dehydrated.

Rain

Rainfall is not a big concern at this time of year, as an average of just 10mm will come down throughout the whole month. This only happens on around 4 days out of the month, so in fact it is quite a rare occurrence to see any rain at all at this time of year. With a bit of forewarning, you should be able to avoid absolutely any risk of rain if it is of concern to you. Those who stay within their resorts will always be close to shelter if needed, of course!
