Hit the Beach

Matalascanas

Matalascanas is the closest beach to Seville and consequently one of the more popular. It is a resort town, full of loud DJ music and high-rise apartment blocks. Outside of the town itself there are miles of empty sands, Donana National Park, accessible to pedestrians or cyclists.

Things to Do

Granada Area

In the Granada area are the Sacromonte hill which contains numerous cave dwellings, and the Albaicin, which contains numerous narrow streets with carmenes (inner gardens) and the Plaza de San Nicolas which provides excellent views of the region.

Sierra Subbetica

There is plenty of countryside to explore in the province of Cordoba including Sierra Subbetica which contains stunning limestone formations, and just nearby lie the towns of Cabra and Lucena which offer various historic centres to explore.
