    In July, the weather in Almeria is warm and dry and it is a great time of the year to visit if wanting a beach holiday.

    Temperature

    The average temperature in this month is 260C with average high and low temperatures ranging from 210C at night to a high of 310C during the day. Although the temperatures now are not the hottest of the year, they are very warm and are continuing to rise, so it is a good idea to keep cool during the day by enjoying the beaches and pools at the hotels. Temperatures can sometime be increased by the dry, easterly Levant wind that blows off the desert. The lowest recently recorded temperature in this resort was 150C and the highest recorded was 400C.

    Rainfall

    The average amount of precipitation seen in July is 10mm affecting only 1 day during the month. This is a very dry time of the year so it is unlikely that rain will spoil a visit to this region in this month. There is only a 5% chance that rain will fall this month, but if it does, it is most likely to be moderately heavy or even thunderstorms.

    Almeria Beaches for July

    A little further around the coast are the stunning Cabo de Gata beaches, with unspoilt natural beauty and an isolated location. As these beaches are secluded, there are few facilities nearby so it is important to take an adequate supply of water and any food with you if you visit these beaches. These beaches are also known as naturist beaches and swimwear is optional, except at the resort beaches near the fishing villages.

    The Rusty Nail bar is home away from home for many visitors to Almeria. Located just outside the city on the beach resort of Mojacar, this bar serves great food, drinks and service with a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Sports are shown on the TV and beers from around Europe are served, including Guinness. Located on the beach, this is a great place to catch up with old friends and meet new ones while visiting the resort.

    Things to do in Almeria in July
