    The traditional Sausage Fair takes place each March in Monchique This event focuses on traditional cured sausage recipes, which are made from ‘carne de porco preto’, otherwise known as ‘black pig.’ There will of course be plenty of opportunities to taste the sausages and discover how they are made by the locals. Apart from the sausages on display, there are also a number of craft stalls and musicians to keep you entertained.
