Adeje Weather October Averages, Canary Islands
Temperatures start to gently decrease in October in Adeje, Tenerife, but only by 1°C from 24°C in September to 23°C in October. It is still more than warm enough to visit this popular holiday destination to catch some rays in the autumn months. During the month you might experience temperatures high of up to 26°C and a low of 19°C which is cooler than in the summer months but still warm enough to enjoy days around the pool and at the beach. One of the main differences from the month before is that the average number of rainy days increases considerably in October from 6 days in September to 10 days in October. This still isn't bad compared to elsewhere in Europe and you should get mostly good weather during your stay.
You get roughly 7 hours of sunshine each day during the month which is an hour less than the month before but one hour more than the following month. While the average temperature and hours of sunshine may have decreased slightly, the sea temperature has stayed the same as the summer months at a warm 23°C. That's great news for those who love to explore the sea when on holiday. Another positive is the month of October also sees less chance of windy days dropping from 45% the month before to just 34% this month but you can always check the weather forecasts.
Adeje is located on the south-west coast of the island of Tenerife in the Canary Islands and because of this experiences good weather during autumn which is why hotels remain busy during the month of October. This popular holiday destination boasts warmer temperatures than other locations on the island such as Las Caletillas which has an average temperature of a cooler 18°C.
