Los Cabos, Baja California Sur, Mexico
It has been reported that more than 850 species of fish call the Sea of Cortez, off of Los Cabos, home. This means, on top of beautiful white sand beaches and plenty of non-fishing activities, anglers have a virtual buffet on their hands here. It is one of the world's most productive fishing areas, thanks to an abundance of marlin, sailfish, tuna, mackerel, and triggerfish.
Visitors can choose to fly-fish on the 30-mile strip of beach and catch cabrilla and roosterfish, or hop on a boat in order to catch much bigger game, like mahi-mahi and yellow fin tuna. Either way, you'll be impressed by the sights, sounds and fun atmosphere that Los Cabos brings to every fishing trip.Must-do: Chasing schools of needlefish down the beach as you ride in an ATV.
