Averages for Sousse in October
Sousse in Tunisia has wonderfully pleasant weather during October. If you’re looking for a place to enjoy the fall, Sousse is a great choice. Daytime average temperatures reach a high of 25°C (77°F) and only fall to 16°C (61°F) at night with an average temperature of 21°C (70°F) making it a lovely time to visit.
The weather fluctuates between about 27 and 30°C from the beginning of the month into the second week with a couple of random above 30 days. The warm weather continues on this way reaching a high of 32°C or a low of 25°C about once a week through the end of the month. The weather for October can be very cloudy and rainy. The first week of the month you can expect rain nearly daily but that decreases as the month goes and by the second and third week, it’s sunny days. By the end of the month, you will see some rain again a couple of times a week.
Fall can be a bit wet in Sousse. You can expect an average of 6 rainy days for the month with the average monthly amount of precipitation around 48 mm. With 7 bright hours of sunshine a day, however, the weather in October can still be quite enjoyable.
The sea temperature drops only a couple of degrees from September reaching 22°C (72°F). This is the ideal time for adventurers who want to enjoy surfing, snorkeling and jet skiing to get out in the water without the crowds of summertime. The temperature makes for a lovely barefoot walk along the beach, as well.
Humidity stays between 50 and 80% for most of October but will see numbers reach as low as 37% and as high as 100%. The daily average for October is around 69%, making it a pretty comfortable time of year.

Things to Do
There is plenty to do at Port El Kantaoui. It is the second largest marina in Tunisia and was built in the 1970s as a means to attract tourists. It is a gorgeous harbour which is a short walk from most of the main tourist hotels in Sousse. You’ll see beautiful boats and yachts in the marina but along the edge of it are the main tourist attractions; shops, restaurants, cafés and more all intended to provide a tranquil experience for you on your holiday.

For more shopping opportunities, you must try shopping in the Sousse Medina. Located on a hillside in the center of the city, this is one of the finest medinas in Tunisia. Meander through the narrow streets filled with shops selling almost everything you could think of including leather and wooden goods. Go with a sense of humor and enjoy shopping and culture at the same time where you can try your hand at bargaining. A tip: saying “la la shoekarin” means “no thank you.”
