Holiday Weather

This is a great little ski resort!
It is very French and everyone will speak to you in the native language, which isn't a bad thing for a change... So be prepared to a bit of guessing on the food menus.
The skiing itself was great, plenty of runs. It is perfect for beginners and intermediates. There are loads of small off piste sections by the side of the runs that zig-zag in and out of trees. Great if your feeling adventurous!
The snow we had was great especially when the rest of Europe had very little.
The resort is linked with another resort called Risoul, which you can easily ski to. This has a more English feel to it and the waiters readily speak English.
Overall a great place to go and if your looking for a quieter place to visit and don't want the stress of a busy (British) resort like Val D'Isere of any of the 3 valleys this could be a great change!
