Unspoilt quaint town, with good nightlife, food and friendly relaxed atmosphere. Excellent access to ski lifts and no waiting. Friendly and efficient ski hire services.
Good variety of ski runs although slope classification slightly strange and not a place for the absolute beginner.
Recommended Places
Lech is very upmarket and quiet so suits the more financially well off, but offers good skiing. Randall, close to St Anton is at high altitude, very open so has long wide ski runs and also very quiet. Schnorkopf (??) is completely unspoilt and has only 1 restaurant. A place where the locals go and ski, but well worth the visit. Excellent red, blue and off piste skiing with great scenery

Fantastic skiing, not for beginners though! Snow conditions were fantastic for us, plenty of skiing for a week and 95% of the lifts are very smart and comfy, some with heated seats! Apres ski was pretty crazy, our favourite was the Krazy Kangaroo, Moose bar was pretty popular to, much more busy but more Austrian locals where as the Kangaroo was Brits, Aussies, Norwegians etc. Overall a fantastic resort and we will definitely return!

Great resort even though there was no snow , the piste bashers at night did a great job to break up the ice and ensured that early on the snow was OK
The apres ski is second to none , the krazy kangurah featuring as the best and rowdiest bar

Hotel Ketress in St Anton is too far out of the town centre, 15min walk up a steep hill. the hotel is well kept and staff are friendly + facillities are good, but some of the menus need changing.
The resort might have been a different place had there been snow, what there was made the holiday fun but you had to go high to find it and even then it was very packed and icy. The pistes were very quiet and nightlife almost none existent for this "lively" resort.
