Holiday Weather

Great high altitude resort for beginners and intermediates. Few challenging runs for higher intermediates and experts. Good potential for off piste adventures given the right conditions. Too many drag lifts on the higher slopes limits access for snowboarders. Also the snow park was closed all week.
The resort was very quiet the week we were there so night life / apres was quiet too.

We stayed at the Dahu apartments in the Easter holiday. Great apartments and location and we loved the holiday.

However, as three single girls (I'm a teacher so had no choice but to go at Easter), it was a little quiet. A lot of school groups there as the resort was very cheap. However, you can find places to go at night if you look hard enough!

Skiing was great and the ski school is well recommended! Fab holida for a very cheap price!

Good resort for beginners. Small town which is walkable end to end but it is better to be in the middle so stay in the Sport Vittoria if you can (heard good reviews), we stayed in the Eidelweiss which was fine.
Apres ski in the Umbrella bar (Paradiso) is fantastic, just do not leave your snowboard outside because it will get stolen (first hand experience) !
Nightlife is limited and places do not get busy until midnight but good fun from then on.
Snow conditions are usually very good here but this year (2007) was unusual in that no snow fell for the first two weeks of Jan.
