Holiday Weather

Great snow. great weather
Little nightlife. Ugly town centre.
but that didn't matter to us, as we were having a family holiday.
We went self catering and choice of shops and food was adequate, and fairly reasonably priced by ski resort standards.

Being an absolute beginner I was quite unprepared as to what to expect from the resort. I found it very friendly but not the busiest of resorts for night-life.
Some of the food outlets were overpriced and not particulary good quality.
However the ski-school was fantastic, well-organised and fun. I was fortunate to have a fabulously patient instructor called Pascale. She managed to embody a degree of confidence in all us beginners!
The Ski-school looked great for children, from tots to teenagers.

Recommended Places
We stayed at the hotel Kaya, which is situated at the top of the resort.
The hotel was great, contemporary, comfortable and attentive staff. I would highly recommend it. The views were also great.
The only downfall was the swimming pool which looked inviting but the water was far too cold! However, the surroundings were stunning.
