Resort Profile

The resort of Solden, and its satellite resort hochsolden is one of Austria's largest, liveliest and most popular ski resort destinations. Summer skiing is on the twin glaciers ( one or the other is always open). Season opening festivals held every October. Skiing is not usually available on glaciers in the winter. The height of Solden and Hochsolden's upper runs means that this is a good bet for a longer season of snow, plus of course the glaciers are a good guarantee.
