Holiday Weather

It was great in alpbach. The people were nice and friendly. the lady we stayed with was lovely.She was called Frauhilda .The sking contitions in Alpbach were great. One night the whole village was covered in snow. up in the mountins i had a sking instructer called sophie. She was extremely nice to me. ALL THE SKI INSTRUCTERS WERE NICE. The scenery was great.

As a family we had a fantastic time. The children took to skiing immediately and the instructors were capable, professional and spoke great english. People are friendly, food is good and we had loads of snow. The blue slopes are quite challenging so as beginners we felt really proud when we could manage them and there are enough reds and blacks to satisfy more expert skiers. We will definitely be going back!

Post hotel does lovely food and a great meat fondue. The Alt-Post above Connie's ski hire is friendly and food also good. We stayed at the Haus Edelweiss B&B where Frau Hilda was so friendly, incredibly clean and couldn't do enough for us.

Albach is the most amazing, friendly, lovely resort - great skiing although it's more for intermediates than beginners or the seriously good. Mainly red/easy blacks. Fantastic social life, amazing food I would definitely recommend it.

Well we were lucky - not much snow all year. We didn't expect much - just a break. The snow fairies came through - for it snowed for us. It was almost the end of the season, never a queue at the lifts and untouched powder was still to be found after 3 days. We were in heaven. Did so much boarding that we were falling asleep over the dinner table.

The skiing/snowbaording is not overly demanding and the piste area limited compared to some resorts. But Alpbach is the nicest, friendliest ski village I have ever visited. I'll be going back.
