Weather : We went to Skiathos in September, had three overcast day's but that ment we could go on some lovely walks.

Holiday : Our first vist to Skiathos what a lovely Island, so green and no where is far the beaches are clean and the sea is crystal clear.

We stayed at the Anastasia apt's in Achladies, number nine bus stop there was first class, the best apt's we have stayed in on all the Greek islands and we have done most of them.

Places Recommended : The Rose Garden restaurant was lovely, the staff so friendly.

If you like walking go to bus stop twenty three and walk through the pine forest to Maldrackie Beach and round the head land back to Koukounaries; its an easy walk and so lovely. Takes about an hour but we stopped at the beach was so beautiful.

And you must go in to Skiathos town so much to see.

Weather : We returned to UK yesterday and out of 10 days we had 5 beautiful hot sunny days.

We did get the tail end of hurricane Danny - 4 days of torrential rain and an earth tremor!

Fabulous! Nothing boring about Skiathos weather!

Be prepared for anything. You cannot have a beautiful lush green island and not expect some rain thrown in.

Holiday : Skiathos is a small, friendly and beautiful island.

I am really chilled out now and have loved every minute of my holiday.

We stayed in Hotel Esperides.

Places Recommended : Maniatas Bar - next door to our hotel.
Tuesday night karaoke and Thursday night the Vagabonds entertain you with their guitars and singing ballads from '60's onwards.

Weather : The weather was very hot!
The four times ive been I have never seen rain; therefore always bring a large bottle of sunscreen!

Holiday : I have stayed in Troulos twice.
I like the town the best because you are never far from any of the beaches on the island and most of the night life is in the town.
However if you are looking for a quieter holiday, staying just outside of the town is more recommended.
There are lots of places to eat and drink.
Previously, I stayed in the blue dolphin appartments near the airport.
I would recommend it to everyone!
Great place!

Places Recommended : Go to the Jail House resturant - its amazing!
Everyone recommends the windmill but it has nothing on the Jail House.
The staff are brilliant!
