Weather : The weather was not brilliant, we had two really nice days then five very changable ones. Despite extreme conditions at times, each day contained enough dry sunny hours to enjoy our stay. We made the best of any good weather and this proved to be the main ingredient in making our time in Skegness fantastic!

If we had still got young children it would have cost a fortune to compensate for poor weather......fortunately we are past that stage now?

Holiday : This was our first holiday without children in 20 odd years, we did take our 3 little dogs, which was a first for us!
We did'nt know how welcome pets would be or how we would cope, but soon found accomodation which turned out to be ideal. We stayed in an eight berth caravan
on the Kingfisher site and soon felt at home as there were people with pets all around us.
Our main activity was chatting to lots and lots of lovely people keen to fuss our dogs and learn all about them, this kept us entertained all week! All so POSITIVE!!

Places Recommended : Wolfies Wine bar, near the clock tower opp crazy golf, inside or outside shaded space also. Fantastic (1st class) staff and food/prices ... DOG friendly as well!!

The Beach south of Ingoldmells Point safe for your dog to run free and almost your own.....perfect .....enjoy the place!!!!!!!
