Weather

The Weather was great in July! Making sitting by the pool a real pleasure!
We had sunshine most days which was usually a good 9 hrs worth! Ranging from 23 degrees up to 31 degrees!

Holiday

An excellent region to visit, the Loire Valley near Saumur has something for every member of the family, from the super Zoo at Doué, La Puy de Fou and Futuroscope for the children to plenty of Chateaux, Vineyards and beautiful countryside for the adults!

Weather

We stayed at the beginning of May and the weather was great. We stayed in a cottage at www.laprairie-loire.com
a super spot for visting the Loire chateaux and Vineyards of the area.
Our children loved playing at the cottages with other children who were staying, swimming and fishing in their lake.

Holiday

A super holiday, lots to see and do in the area.
A great place to stay at La Prairie with very kind hosts who helped us with directions and advised on places to visit.
Saumur is a lovely town and a central position for visting all of the Loire Valley

Weather

Warm and sunny - comfortable weather to go out and about in the day and sleep at night.
We had no rain during our stay.

Holiday

We stayed on the campsite on the island in the middle of the Loire.
That was a good campsite with an easy walk into the town. There are lovely drives along both banks of the Loire and the area was not overcrowded in June.
Scenery is beautiful, food is excellent and lots of wine cellars to visit.
Good choice of restaurants.
