Weather Averages for Santa Susanna in November
Averages for Santa Susanna in November
Santa Susanna is a perfect destination to escape the winter weather of the UK. The subtropical Mediterranean climate means that even the winters in this small Catalan town are mild and sunny, and there’s plenty of activities to keep the whole family entertained.
November temperatures in Santa Susanna are significantly different to November temperatures in the UK. Weather-wise, there’s barely any sign of the festive season approaching, with temperatures reaching up to 17 degrees celsius in the day, and 8 degrees overnight.
Rainfall is about 58mm, much lower than the previous rainy month. It is still wet by Spanish standards, but the good news is that November marks the end of the stormy season, so thunder and lightning should be much less frequent, especially towards the end of the month.
Kids will love the Santa Susanna Pony Park. Beginners can choose just a short 10 minute trek, while more confident riders can complete a 30 minute ride. Individual courses are offered, but group riding is a great way for the children to meet some friends. It’s great for younger kids, too, as the carriage rides are suitable for those aged from 4 years.
The Pony Park is located next door to a McDonalds, but for a bit more variety in the evening meal, head to the buffet restaurant at the Santa Susanna Resort. There’s a variety of hot and cold international dishes and is open for dinner from 6.30pm.
The Santa Susanna Resort is one the the most popular hotels in the town. The property is right in the heart of the old town and the tourist Cuc train runs right past the hotel so it’s very easily accessible. There’s a daily free shuttle bus from the hotel to the beach that runs every 30 minutes throughout the day, so there’s no need to pay for transportation costs. All rooms feature private terrace or balcony and cost from £52 per night, although the all inclusive option is certainly worth a look.
