Weather

The weather in May 2012 was perfect.

The temperature was on average 30 degrees celsius every day and the waters were clear & warm.

Holiday

Myself & my husband honeymooned at the El Dorado Royal and it was perfect and very romantic.

The food is amazing and the staff are ever so friendly & helpful.

Looking forward to our 2013 holiday in the exact same place.

Definitely need longer than 7 days as the jetlag is tiring.

Weather

It is a little cooler in January, but the weather is quite stable and you can make plans to do some touring without too many surprises.

Holiday

It is always enjoyable when we visit.

We love the activities that are available(to many to mention).

The people are tremendous and very hospitable.
I wish that was the case here at home.

Weather

The weather in Riveria Maya was great, it was a little humid but you hardly noticed it with the ocean breezes blowing down the corridors of the buildings.
It did rain the afternoon of the wedding but in Mexico it is considered good luck to have rain on your wedding day. The rain only made the wedding more memorable.

Holiday

My holiday in Riviera Maya was absolutely perfect, no complaints at all..
We didn't get slippers or turn down service but I am sure that a phone call would have got us both. It just wasn't that important to us to bother anybody.

Weather

The weather was really hot. Considering it was rainy season, we were very lucky as we only had one thunderstorm in the whole two weeks!

It was just as hot in the evenings- the only difference was no sun.

Holiday

Had a fantastic two week holiday. Very friendly staff, couldn't do enough for us. The food was excellent, tried all the restaurants which were very good! The buffet style restaurants were also very good, with a wide choice of food for everyone.

We arrived on the sunday of 29th August 2010,
when we got off the plane, the heat hit you. I think the temperature was around the 30 mark. We also had 3 days when it reached 100 to 110f, fanastic.

Holiday

It was our honeymoon, when we arrived at the hotel we received glass of champagne and a cold fannel to cool down. Then we were taken to our room by the bell boy on a golf buggie. The hotel grounds were spotless and clean, our room was amazing the balcony was over looking the lazy river pool we were on the third floor. The staff were very friendly & helpful (conceriage) the food was first class specially the mia casa(italain rest) we ate in there four times. Also the restaraunts for breakfast were excellent. The beach was brilliant, a few rocks in the water, but they were clearing it. All we can say is wow. My only critisism would be that they need to do alternative menus by changing them each week.

Weather

The weather was great, sun, sun and more sun. We had an odd cloud come across but nothing to remember. It was quite windy at times but nothing too bad.
It was not humid like in some countries.
So you could not complain about the weather at all.

Holiday

We found the Hotel really lovely, from walking into the beautiful reception, up to our bedroom. The whole hotel was kept so clean, every morning the walkways outside were cleaned and there were a lot of walking areas to clean. The restaurants were exceptional, the food really first class. The staff were really friendly and helpful.
We will definitely be returning one day.
We went to a RIU Hotel in Aruba this year and was not quite up to the standard of the RIU Hotel in Riviera Maya.

Weather

Stayed there in August 2008, the weather was very warm both weeks 30 degrees all the time.

There was reports of rain in Cancun every day but we did'nt have any where we were about 90 minutes down the coast.

Holiday

Great place, bedrooms biggest I have ever had and there was 2 adults and 3 kids in one room.

Restaurants served very good food, about 7 to choose from.

Great shows and bar service excellent, also free room service .

Only thing that let it down was the service in the restaurants, the guys who worked there could'nt be bothered and they seemed to interested in socialising amongst themselves, but the ladies were very good.

Once I complained about this to the main hotel manager and a bottle of champagne appeared in my room and the service improved greatly whenever I visited the restaurants.

Weather

The weather was cool 71-84 degrees F and cloudy at the end of October with short bouts of sunshine.

Holiday

The beach at Secrets Capri was rocky, cloudy and not calm. The pool was too cold to swim.
The food was delicious and overall hotel accomadations were very nice.
