February remains very warm and is the driest month of the year in Punta Cana.
Daytime temperatures reach a very warm 27°C (81°F) and fall no lower than 22°C (72°F) in the evenings, so the temperature actually remains fairly stable at all times.
You may experience some rain showers during your stay, but these are very brief and are often a welcome respite from the heat!
9 hours of sunshine each day means you will of course spend most of your time at the beach – and those in the area have clean white sand and shallow, crystal clear waters for you to enjoy.
Water sports are available at many beaches, so you can try your hand at water skiing or scuba diving. Boat tours are also available for a pleasant way to view the scenic coastline.
Punta Cana is famed for its many golf courses, and many resorts are located close to the best greens.
Although there is no upper limit to the amount you can spend on luxury accommodation in Punta Cana, there are some very good deals to be found on all inclusive accommodation for seven nights.

There are Japanese and Mexican restaurants, a pizzeria, a grill and two a la carte restaurants. The numerous bars include the Gri-Gri swim up bar, Café Dominicano Lounge Bar and La Jungla beach disco.
There is also a gym, three swimming pools and activities such as water sports available.
The Grand Flamenco offers rooms from £477, which includes buffet dining in the main restaurant, complete with alcoholic and soft drinks, as well as a snack bar by the main pool. Sports facilities include tennis, volleyball and horse riding.
