Holiday Reviews for Prague
"Fabulous Holiday"
Weather : We went on our 25th Wedding anniversary for 4 nights in November 2006, the weather was absolutely gorgeous.
Holiday : Because it was a special occassion we stayed in a 4* hotel, the food was great in the hotel and in local restaurants the drink is quite expensive but if you go to small bars away from the squares and attractions it will be cheaper. We hope to go back this year in November.
I recommend you do plenty of walking you will be amazed at the buildings and streets so take a good pair of trainners
Places Recommended : Weslesen Square
Charles Bridge

"Prague City"
Weather : We travelled from 28th March to 31st. The whether was forcast for rain but it was cold and sunny on the Saturday and beautiful on the Sunday.
Holiday : You need good walking shoes if sightseeing is what you are after. It is easy to get around on foot, on the metro or by tram. The official tours are worth going on for the historic information.
The food and alcohol are expensive contrary to popular belief - about £3.50 for a pint but there are many gift shops and an extensive retail area - mango, C & A even Tesco!
Be warned to get your duty free before going through passport control as there are no shops after this - or toilets!
Places Recommended : Charles Bridge
Castle & Cathedral
Wenceslas Square
Markets
Astronomical clock - a must
Time church
Recommend Prague to others : Yes
