There is rarely any rainfall in the south of Playa Taurito as it is so warm and dry. The north will witness most of the rain, however the winds from this direction sweep down to the south, and this is generally welcomed as it helps keep the temperatures stable. The rain usually falls between December and February averaging between 29mm to 33mm per month, but the region will still tend to get around seven hours of sunshine a day
