The weather was cool calm with lots of sun.

The air fresh and full of the scent of spring flowers.

The evening breeze was warm enough for us to take a relaxed walk amongst the fireflies or along the pebbled beach lightweight summer clothing .

Paxos is just the place you should not go to.

Leave it for those of us who have found this extremely beautiful and tranquil paradice.

We were greeted in style by the local inhabitants and made truly welcome.

So much so that - Yes we are going back again this year.

We have left it until now to write this review knowing with only three weeks to go before our next visit it will be very unlikely that there will be a last minute rush and we will once again enjoy a superb relaxing holiday.

The weather was beautiful; sunny and very hot every day, but toleable only because we swam in the clear seas and the pool to cool off. Warm enough to wear a suntop the whole time, even at 10.00 at night going to a restaurant. At night you only have a sheet if that, as it is so hot, and you could even stay up on the balcony and not get cold. Lovely.

Wonderful. Paxos is beautiful, very quiet and peaceful. It has lots of windy paths through olive groves, and crickets sounding from the hot, dry grass. The buildings are white to reflect the heat, and snorkeling in the warm blue seas is fun because you see all kinds of fish and sealife. There are both sandy and rocky beaches, with sunbeds and little cafe's, and lots of little shops. In the sunset light you could walk along eating icecream, as it's so warm. One of the most amazing holidays ever and so peaceful, as there is no airport and is only roughly 7 miles long and 3 miles wide. Anti-paxos is smaller but just as lovely, and on the boat trip out there, you can see wild dolphins leaping the waves beside the boat. It is also quiet because there isn't much nightlife (whoop). The food is Greek mainly but sutiable for families and vegetarian's etc. It is very nice, good food from the little tavernas and restaurants with grape vines growing around. There are also lots of cats.
