Weather : Weather was fantastic during the day - 80 to 90 each day. Had light showers in the afternoons but they didnt last long. Got a really good tan!

Holiday : Stayed at the Quality Inn Plaza.
The hotel itself was alright.
Staff weren't that great.
Restaurant I didn't enjoy.
Had a few relaxing days at the pool which was nice although a small pool area.
All in all hotel was good value for money.

Holiday was fantastic - did all the Flex-ticket parks except from Wet n Wild as I heard this was a bit run down.

Went to Disney's Animal Kingdom, Magic Kingdom (twice) and Hollywood Studios (twice).
Much prefer the Disney Parks though as there is a better atmosphere and more to do.

Went to Florida Mall, Millenia Mall and Premium Outlets. All were fantastic.

I was a lone traveller so I saw so much and had so much to do.
Was never once bored.

Pointe Orlando has some really nice restaurants and I would thoroughly recommend The Oceanaire fish restaurant. Great food and service!

Places Recommended : I would reccommend Aquatica, Seaworld for Manta, Disney and the Florida Mall/Premium Outlets.
Remember you are never too old for Disney.

Do not go to Hard Rock Cafe as it is well over-rated!

Weather : The weather was hot and humid, but after a few days we have adjusted.
Thunderstorms most days in the afternoon but didnt last long.

Holiday : Holiday was fantastic!
We stayed in a villa on Solana resort.. 10 mins away from Disneyworld and only 25 mins from Universal Studios
Virgin Atlantic flights were fab, great food, great entertainment and friendly and helpful cabin crew.
Cant wait to go again!!
Would definatley recommend staying for 3 weeks, we could have stayed even longer.

Places Recommended : Disneyworld and Universal Studios of course.
Busch gardens are great, ques are no where near as big as Disneyworld.
Kennedy space centre.
Discovery cove is a must.
All inclusive day at Paradise - would recommend driving to clearwater to see the beautiful sunset.
Ponderosa steak house all you can eat buffet is good value for money - these resteraunts are all over orlando!

Weather : Went on the 20th September it was between 80-90 only rained once heavily and a few little showers but only lasted ten minutes ,the heat was a welcome change to the Scottish weather .
We all came home with nice tans in October you
can't ask for any more.

Holiday : It was the best most magical holiday we ever had people tell you about it but you never know till you go yourself. Stayed at the Quality Inn Plaza on International Drive read mixed reviews but we where very happy there.
Loved all aspects of Disney , Magic Kingdom was our fav ,Universal was fab.
Water parks great , and had some nice relaxing hours
by the pool with towels supplied.

Places Recommended : Loved the Mall at Millenia,prime &
premium outlets .
Used the Iride and Lynx buses not that much of a hardship really.
Point Orlando Mall is super & was across from our hotel,Johnny Rockets is superb,so is the pizza place there Victoria's secrets ,footlocker ,bars ,cinemas all there.

Weather : Not long back, we arrived there on 20th September for two week, weather fantastic, mid 80-90, rained one afternoon during our two weeks, .

Holiday : Done Universal etc and the Aquatica is a good place to spend the day.
Went back to Universal for the Halloween thing.
If you get the chance, defo worth a visit.
I was in Calabay Park, Tower Lakes which is near Haines City and our villa was brilliant, just along the road was good old Walmart

Weather : We had a few solid days of rain thanks to tropical storm Faye. We went to Animal Kingdom on one of those days and it felt like we had the park to ourselves! When not raining it was glorious sunshine, hot and humid.

Holiday : Orlando was fantastic from start to finish. We booked through Thomson and the flights went without a hitch (apart from dodgy inflight meals). The villa was gorgeous and spacious with own pool, a real pleasant suprise and only 25 mins from Disney if that. There was so
much to do we wish we could have gone for 3 weeks instead of 2. We had a 7day disney pass and a 3 day universal so we utilised that and tried to fit other things in when we had a chance.

Places Recommended : Disney of of course, try and stay for night shows especially Fantasmic and Wishes fireworks. We made reservations at chef Mikey's and got to dine with the characters which our 3 and 6yr olds loved. Foodwise we preffered Bob Evans and Cracker Barrel as they had a bit of charm as well as good food.

Weather : The weather was very hot, very humid and very muggy for a lot of the week. We had two hurricanes come over us while we were away *tropical Storm Hana and also Hurricane Ike - neither of them were a problem and we went to waterparks on the days they came over - which left the parks empty. It was a wonderful break from the sun when the rain came.

Holiday : The holiday itself was incredable. Definetly bring children next time, but for a couple celebrating their anniversary it was still great fun being made a fuss of by everyone and meeting the characters. We visited all the parks in 2 weeks, but would defintly reccoment 3 weeks, get some breaks in too - otherwise you'll be in pain parking it out everyday!

Places Recommended : Definetly Disney and Discovery Cove. Discovery Cove is all inclusive and have some amazing animal exhibits - including the aviary.

Weather : There is always a likelihood of thunder storms but the rain is a welcome change because of the heat, some of the temperatures reached over the 100 degrees last year, and you forget how humid it is

Holiday : We always split our holiday between Orlando and the Gulf coast, this year we are going to Daytona, orlando and St Petes.

We book our holdays through a lady called Kathryn who lends her Abta Number to Hayes Travel , the service is always excellent .

Places Recommended : Woud recommend Kennedy Space Centre, Seaworld, Universal Studios and Busch Gardens

Weather : We went on 20th July - 3rd Aug 08 and the weather was great. very hot, sometimes up to 101degrees. There were more storms than we were used to getting and some of them lasted for a few hours. This did not spoil our holiday though as the rain is sometimes a welcomed thing!

Holiday : We normally book our holiday in Florida independently and this year decided to book via Travel City Direct. The whole experience was not good. Poor service on flights, poor standard of accommodation (which was at Calabay Parc on Tower Lake and 45 minutes away from parks), we had to upgrade the car to allow us to get the luggage in....etc etc. So needless to say the holiday was not as good as expected

Weather : WE WENT IN MAY AND THE WEATHER WAS PERFECT. IT WAS MID - 20 CELCIUS. IT WAS NOT TOO WARM AND NOT TOO COLD, IN THE LAST COUPLE DAYS WHICH WAS (JUNE 5TH AND JUNE 6TH) IT RAINED FOR ABOUT AN HOUR AT 3PM. IT WAS NOT BAD THOUGH BECASUE WE JUST WENT INDOORS AND WAITED AND IT WAS CLEAR AGAIN. THE WEATER DID NOT AT ALL RUIN THE HOLIDAY.

Holiday : OUR HOLIDAY WAS GOOD - WE STAYED AT BEST WESTERN INTERNATIONAL PLAZA.
THE SHOPPING WAS REALLY GOOD AND YOU COULD FIND EVERYTHING YOU WANTED.

Places Recommended : DISNEY WORLD - THE BEST ONE HAS TO BE MAGICAL KINGDOM

UNIVERSAL STUDIOS - FOR OLDER PEOPLE
