And if you'd like a way to beat the heat, reserve space at the Bright Shark Diving Centre.  This company will take you out on a boat, complete with food and drinks, out to Nabq Bay to snorkel and swim in the bright turquoise water.  You can see the local coral and fish while cooling off from the unrelenting sunshine.   

August brings the wet season for the Nile River.  This will not impact Nabq Bay but the country will be preoccupied by news from its most populous area at this time.
