Weather : The weather was very hot and sunny with a lovely breeze, couldn't have been better.

I can't say any more about the weather!!!

Holiday : I went to Monte Gordo in October 1985, 1987 and 1989. I have always had good memories of Monte Gordo. My daughter was 2 when we first went and I was 35, it was my first trip abroad.

I went back on the 12th October for 7 days staying at the Vasco da Gamma for the 2nd time. No night life!! Plenty of restaurants although they are a bit expensive now! Try the Monte Gordo Restaurant down from the sqare on the left, good food and not too pricy.

Also you must go to Villa Real, especially if you like markets etc.,

Holiday : Have visited Montegordo 3 times a year for the last 7/8 years great for my age group over sixty.
Peace and sunshine.
And the even better news i off again on Thursday for a month

Places Recommended : Harleys bar if you want English food.
Garden Bar for a large beer 1-50 all nice people. Ayamonte in Spain (catch the ferry from Vila Real.
