Averages for Magaluf in February

February is still quite cold in Magaluf, Spain. The average low temperature is 39.2°F (4°C) at night. Like January, this could deter some from choosing Magaluf as a vacation destination. It should not, though. There are many bars, clubs and restaurants that run all year long regardless of the time of year or the weather.

The average high temperature for February is 60.8°F (16°C).

The average sea temperature is 57.2°F (14°C). This is still too cold for swimming and other water-related activities, but the sandy beaches are lovely for peaceful strolls at any time of year as well.

There is an average of 1.54” (39 mm) of precipitation on about 8 days per month. This can be anything from a light drizzle to a brief shower, but it will never last long.

There is an average of 7 hours of sunlight each day.

If the beach is not a viable option, some of the area’s common attractions can keep guests entertained. One of these is The House of Katmandu. It can be hours of fun for people of all ages really, not just children! There are plenty of photography opportunities in front of the upside-down house, and some of the awesome activities include miniature golf, a house of mirrors, a funhouse tunnel and a 4-D ride.

For a grown-up good time, tourists should hit the strip and bar hop to and from places like Crystal’s. This establishment was one of the first on the strip, but it has kept up well with the times with some recent refurbishing. It should definitely be a stop on your fun night out.

The Sol Magalluf Park Hotel is mainly aimed at entertaining the 18-30 crowd, but it does host families and older couples and is known for being one of the quieter hotels in the area. It is perfect for guests who what to relax all day and party at night but still come back to a good night’s or early morning’s sleep.

Rooms are well equipped with a television and lots of storage. Rooms with balconies that face the rowdy BCM club are not too loud because of the reinforced glass. Other balconies face the hotel’s entertainment area.

Location is a big factor when choosing this hotel. It is close to the upside-down house Katmandu, many restaurants, clubs and discos, and Palma Nova.

Breakfast at the hotel is plentiful and sure to please a wide variety of nationalities. Lunch and dinner offers everything from kid-friendly burgers, chicken nuggets and pizza to high-quality salads and dishes of shrimp, fish and other meats as well. The deserts are widely arrayed as well.

With all these choices, it is easy to see why so many choose the full board option. However, having so many tempting options located so close by persuades many to get the best of both worlds and go half board.
