Averages for Los Gigantes in July

Located on the largest of the Canary Islands, Tenerife, Los Gigantes is an idyllic resort town.  Rife with lush semi-tropical forests, volcanoes, mountains and stunning sandy beaches, this island is paradise.

The summer heats settle in and unpack for the month of July in Los Gigantes.  Tenerife travellers can expect an average daily temperature of 19 degrees Celsius.  The low temperature hovers around 15 degrees Celsius with highs of up to 22 degrees.  Best of all, as to be expected in the Canary Islands, you will see an average of 12 hours of sunshine each day.

Located just a stone’s throw away from volcanic black sand beaches, the Hat or “El Sombrero” apartments offer 42 comfortable, private apartments.  Available from a studio size up to two bedrooms, each apartment offers a kitchen, satellite television and a balcony or terrace to each guest.  With separate pools for children and adults, you can vacation here as a family but the privacy and feeling of a couple’s getaway.

For a refined, sophisticated meal while in Los Gigantes, make reservations at El Rincon de Juan Carlos.  This restaurant is owned by two local brothers.  The Padron brothers have taken cuisine to the next level and towards unique combinations and modern techniques.  If you consider yourself a foodie or an adventurous eater, this restaurant will give you a menu and plates that will leave you happy.

Savour a trip out on the sea with a boat trip through Flipper Uno.  These leisurely boat tours offer a unique view of the stunning cliffs of Tenerife, some of the highest cliffs in the world.  Depending on the time of year, you can see dolphins or whales through the crystal blue waters of the Atlantic Ocean.  Each boat trip comes with a snack and drink to begin and a complete lunch at seas.  Sodas, water and even beer and wine are available while sailing as well.
