Summer is in full swing during the month of July in La Palma. Although it is not the hottest month of the year, it is constantly warm throughout July. The average temperature this month is 23°C (73°F), while the average low is 20°C (68°F) and the average high is 25°C (77°F). The beginning of July brings warm, sunny days, with no chance of rain and an average daily temperature of 22°C (72°C). The middle and the end of the month see the same conditions, except that the average daily temperature rises to 23°C (73°F). Their rooftop is home to a pool and a solarium. The hotel is conveniently located in Santa Cruz.

Faro de Fuencaliente Beach consists of black, volcanic, sand and has numerous amenities. There are places to rent sunbeds, umbrellas, and even hammocks, as well as showers and a changing area. There is also a promenade that is ideal for walking near the water and it contains several restaurants, many with terraces overlooking the sea. Bikes can be rented here as well for riding along the promenade. The beach is very clean as it is maintained regularly. There is also a famous lighthouse at one end of the beach. Faro de Fuencaliente Beach is about an hour drive south of Santa Cruz and is also serviced by the local bus.

Nueva Beach is a long, wide beach that changes depending on the season. In the winter it is mostly sandy, while in the summer months like July, it consists of mostly stones. This is due to the strong currents in the winter, making it ideal for surfing, that do not exist in the summer, making it ideal for swimming. The natural water here is said to be "rejuvenating." The beach itself is hidden between banana plantations and thus is usually quiet, even in the crowded summer months. Due to this beach being off the beaten path, there are not any amenities and you will have to go inland a bit to find a place to eat. El Quinto Pino is a restaurant about a 15 minute walk from the beach and has a variety of options, including local dishes, as well as freshly made pizzas. Nueva Beach is about a 55 minute drive southwest of Santa Cruz.

Restaurante Azul offers both local dishes, as well as some international ones. Their menu is constantly changing based on what's in season and what's available. However, they usually have starters like tuna tartar and soups/salads, as well as main dishes like steak, lamb, rabbit, and duck. The menu will also always have some time of seafood, like a catch of the day, and vegetarian options as well. They also have a wine list consisting of local La Palma wines and others from around Spain. The restaurant is only open on Saturdays and Sundays, from 1 PM until late. They are about a 90 minute drive northwest of Santa Cruz.

Restaurant Jardin de Los Naranjos serves a "European" menu, meaning there will be something on the menu for everyone. They offer a large variety of starters and salads, while their main dishes focus on meat and fish. There are also pasta dishes and vegetarian options and a selection of homemade desserts. They have a large wine list which is dominated by local wines, but there are also some bottles from other parts of Spain. The restaurant is open from 1 PM to 4 PM and 6 PM to 10 PM on Tuesday through Friday and from 12 PM to 11 PM on Saturdays and Sundays. They are closed Mondays and are about an 80 minute drive northwest of Santa Cruz.

A great way to enjoy the warm weather in July, while also taking in some of La Palma's beautiful nature, is by going on a mountain bike ride. Magic Bike offers several different options for rides and is able to cater their tours to your needs. Whether you are a beginner or an expert rider, or you want to ride through the forest, or by the sea, they have the appropriate course for you. They also have a shuttle service that is capable of taking their bikes anywhere on the island, should you have a particular journey in mind. Overnight tours are options as well and they offer stays at their guesthouse as part of certain trips. Prices vary depending on your course and the duration of the ride.
