April is the last month of the dry season in Ko Phi Phi, situated off Thailand’s west coast in the Andaman Sea, and there is a considerable increase in rainfall – April averages 129mm over 10 days.
That still leaves over 3 weeks of dry days though, and with 9 hours of daily sunshine on average there is little to complain about.
April is a very hot month with an average high temperature of 33°C and average low of a very warm 24°C. The sea is also very warm at 30°C (86°F), so you’ll have no qualms about taking a swim to cool off or hitting the water in a kayak.
