June really begins to heat up in Kemer, Turkey. The average low temperature for the area is 66°F (19°C) during the night, but the average high temperature reaches a sweltering 91°F (33°C) during the daytime hours.
Beachgoers love this weather, especially since the cool ocean breeze never allows the air to feel its true temperature.
The average sea temperature is almost as high as it will be at this point of the summer. The water is extremely warm, allowing anyone access to the Mediterranean waters.
There are opportunities for tourists to go deep sea fishing, paragliding, or parasailing over the blue sea as well.
In addition to these water sports, Korprulu Canyon National Park offers rafting adventures lasting anywhere from 1 to 6 hours. These trips can be made on the Korprulu River, the Alara River, or the Dim River.
Longer trips are accompanied by a 3-course seafood lunch before tourists head back out to brave the rapids again.

The Aspendos Opera and Ballet Festival is a two-month-long concert and performance series that will last into July.
A relatively new festival, it has only been in existence since 1994, but the Turkish State Opera and Ballet Directorate is pleased with its results.
Not only are the performances breathtaking and memorable, but so is the venue. The festival is held in an ancient amphitheater that has obviously been preserved extremely well. This amphitheater, which dates back to the 2nd century, is designed to have amazing acoustics.
