Halkidiki or Chalkidiki is located close to Thessaloniki, Greece's second largest city, and is situated in the Macedonian region. It’s a perennial favourite holiday destination with tourists.

Home to more than 60 beaches, 45 of them bearing the EU Blue Flag, Halkidiki receives the highest tourist population during the summer.
