Weather

The weather was absolutely incredible. Not a cloud in the sky for most of the two weeks.

Very hot in afternoon so any shade was a good way to spend the last of the day.

SPENT MOST OF THE TIME AT THE HOTEL WITH A FEW DAYS SHOPPING. VERY QUIET TIME WHICH IS WHAT WE LIKE.

Warm, sunny and just a little breeze so it wasn't to stifled feeling.

Love Guardalavaca, especially Club Amigo Atlantico.

This resort has got to be the friendliest in Cuba.

Guardalavaca is a nice Quiet town with interesting things to see nearby.

I go back at least 3 times a year.

Absolutely fantastic, hot every day, need loads of cream, beautiful hotel, very private and staff so lovely.

Would recommend Paradisus de Rio every time, going back in October we were so impressed.

Can't wait to see the beautiful beach again.

Brilliant, perfect and so relaxing, it was truly paradise.

If I was getting married this is where I could come to.

The weather was fab, it was very hot every day, so make sure you take lots of sun cream. The beach is really clean with lovely white sand and their were plenty of things to do there.

Me and my partner went to Guardalavaca in july last year and what a great time we had, Cuba was one of my best holidays ever. We met lots of new friends and the people could not do enough for you, they are really nice people it was so good that we've decided that were going to get married their this year, so I would definitely recommend other people to go and have a good time.

Fabulous and then it was even better! A week straight of low to mid-thirties. Slight breeze was very welcomed. A/C was heaven in the evenings. Swimming everyday in the ocean. Incedible sunsets in the evening during walks along the shoreline.

Holiday

We found the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, The Brisas! Every step of our trip was smooth. From the Airport staff, shuttle bus reps, resort staff to the local people. Enough can't be said of their hospitality and overall graciousness. I can say that our family felt almost royalty. Snorkeled everyday, the coral reef is slowly making growth. Beautiful, clean white beaches are public and free of vendor harassment. Food was good. Our kids are picky eaters and we didn't have a single complaint for either of them. Age groups covered everything from young people to starting families to older couples and grandparents. So many vacationers are several time returnees and I understand why. This is now our vacation spot until further notice.

Absolutely fab - was 120 degrees one day in June 2007. some light showers - mostly at aobut 5-6pm but over and done with in 10 minutes - fantastic storm one night. Very humid but the air-cond was brill.

Soooo good, would love to go back again really a paradise island, very low key and laid back. Was a special break to celebrate my daughters 18th birthday and we had such a good time, the hotel even made her a cake (which was huge).
