Averages for Golden Sands in October

October begins to become much cooler in Golden Sands as the tourist season winds down.

So although you can still come to Golden Sands and laze about on the miles of soft sand, you should also bring warmer clothing such as long sleeved tops and light jackets for the evenings.

There is still a huge array of indoor and outdoor activities in and around the resort to take part in.

 The Golden Sands Nature Park is a must see during your stay in Bulgaria. There are over 3000 acres of wildlife and plant life here, many of them being endangered species. You can hike or cycle around the park, but a very popular choice is a jeep safari with an English speaking guide.

The nearby village of Balchik is worth seeing to soak up some of the local charm and visit the Historical Museum, which houses ancient artefacts found in the local area.

Back at the resort, sporty holiday makers can indulge in basketball, tennis and volleyball, and golf lovers can head to one of several recently built 18 hole courses.

Adults and children alike will enjoy a fun day out at the Aquapolis water park.

 The night life in Golden Sands is second to none. There are a huge variety of restaurants, and for younger holiday makers you can check out the casino and then dance the night away at one of the many nightclubs!

Hotels such as the Admiral and the Imperial are open throughout the year, even after the tourist season comes to a close. Out of season, you may well be able to find deals on your stay and reduced prices on rooms.
