The city of Florence is served by Peretola Airport, Florence Airport, otherwise known as Amerigo Vespucci Airport

Getting to and from the Airport

Bus – Buses are available throughout selected hours (very reliable)

Taxis, Car Rentals and Private Shuttles are also available

NB: In comparison to the nearby city of Pisa, Amerigo Vespucci Airport is much more limited and only supplies direct flights from London Gatwick. Even though connecting flights are available from other destinations throughout other Italian and European hubs, it is recommended and much easier to fly directly to Pisa alternatively.
