Florence is a
city that is found in the gorgeous wine country region of Tuscany in Italy.
This is a city visited by great number of people from around
the world, for its culture, scenic views and renaissance art and architecture.
Being a city that is rich in history, it holds a lot of museums where tourists
can admire and learn more about the sordid and exciting past of the region.
October is when the temperatures seriously begin to decline towards a more winter-like atmosphere. The average daily temperature that a tourist could expect in October is going to be around 21°C (70°F).
The nightly low temperature will be around 10°C (50°F) so visitors will need to be sure to pack jackets, sweaters and other warm and insulated clothing so that they will be comfortable while venturing about the city in the evenings.
Despite the cool weather, October in Florence is still very exciting and fun.
After visiting all of the museums
and religious sites (if that’s even
possible), tourists may want to consider branching out away from the city for a
bit.
There are several companies in the area who offer horseback riding tours of Tuscany. This is a great experience for young and old, experienced riders and beginners. The tours generally last around 6 hours and will take visitors on a leisurely tour of the countryside where they will see olive groves and vineyards and finally to the winery itself where the tour will continue on foot. It’s a very pleasant way to spend the day and isn’t as expensive as one might think.
