Averages for Florence in November

Florence is an amazing city that is found at the heart of the Tuscany region of Italy. Also known as the ‘cradle of renaissance’, Florence boasts some of the most popular works of art in the world, including Michelangelo’s David which is located at the Accademia di Belle Arti.

November is a cold month in Florence and visitors can expect daytime temperature highs of around 15°C (59°F). It’s still comfortable however visitors may need to wear sweaters, jackets and long pants to be comfortable while outdoors during the day.

As for evening temperatures, visitors can look forward to cool temperatures around 6°C (43°F).

Florence has lots of historical structures, churches and museums (almost too many to see on a short holiday), and just walking around the city of Florence itself  is almost like walking in one big museum.

When in the city perhaps tourists can do a bit of shopping or rub the boar’s snout for good fortune at the Loggia del Mercato Nuovo or popularly known as Loggia del Porcellino. It is a building established in the 16th century that used to cater space to both sellers and buyers of silk and luxury goods. Now, it is known to sell leather goods and souvenirs to tourists who visit the area from all over the world.

Visitors who are on a limited schedule but would like to see as much of the city as possible should consider taking a tour with Tuscany Car Tours. They personalize each and every trip according to guests’ desires and they are a great alternative to wandering around and probably missing out on many of the hidden gems of Florence. Believe it or not, they’re quite affordable, too.

The Hotel Europa is one of the highest rated budget accommodations in Florence. The hotel is very conveniently located near enough to all of the major attractions that guests will find it quite easy to go to and from place to place. They offer standard rooms and suites, both of which are well appointed with comfortable beds and clean, modern bathrooms. For the budget traveller looking to save money but not sacrifice location, the Hotel Europa is a dream come true.
