Weather : Fantastic weather this is the best thing about Salou.
Long days of glorious sunshine and evening temperatures of 26 degrees. Plenty of places with air conditioning if you need to get out of the heat.

Holiday : Salou itself is dirty, tacky and in major need of a revamp. I found most of the spanish people to be quite rude and will not move aside when you are trying to walk past. The spanish themselves should complain about all the litter, the broken, dog messed, dangerous pot holed pavements. The Promenade is lovely but once you go away from there what a difference. Will I return to Salou no never again. Go to Benalmadena it is beautiful, really clean and the spanish people there are much more pleasent and friendly.

Places Recommended : Tarragona is a lovely place to visit with its medieval walls and cathedral.

Weather : The weather is generally very good,clear skies the whole time we were there with no rain & approx 80 degrees most days at the end of june, 2 days we were there reached 100 degrees,at night it was approx 71 degrees

Holiday : This was the worst holiday ever!
The people in this region are not at all friendly to outsiders & they hate the British,expect to get treated with contempt wherever you go & the locals will overcharge British tourists on everything - there is one price for the Spanish & another for the British,there are a lot of little towns along the coast line most of which are dumps - there is filth & rubbish everywhere & prostitution is rife - expect to see prostitutes at least every 2 or 300 yards or so along the roads day & night & there are strip clubs everywhere,unless you are fluent in Spanish don't ever bother to go to any of these places except for Salou & Reus where the people are more friendly &* civilised,most of the costa dorada is not for the faint hearted we ended up paying extra to get early flights home

Places Recommended : Only Salou & Reus,every where else forget it!
